Claw Foot Baths

Claw foot bath tubs are often seen as a thing of the past. First seen in the 1800's, the claw foot bath declined in popularity with the invention of the indoor bathroom. Nowadays, it is making a come back, with people wanting 'something different' for their bathroom.

There are many styles of Claw foot bath tubs:

  • Victorian Era
  • Roman
  • Slipper - Raised at one end, which offers the user a comfortable head rest.
  • Double Slipper - Raised at both ends, for those little romantic interludes in the tub!
  • Pedestal
  • Copper
  • Wood
  • Freestanding

They are available in iron (with enamel overlay) or lightweight acrylic.

  • Iron - Very heavy but durable. Requires adequate room as quite large.
  • Lightweight Acrylic - Obviously lightweight and easy to move around. Available in many sizes. Never rusts.

Claw foot bath tubs are available in all sorts of colours and combinations, with the option of one colour for the bath and another for the claw feet.
